If there was ever a time to hire a wedding planner, it’s now! There, I said it. Big, bold statement, right there. But let me tell you why…
Why you should hire a wedding planner!
I don’t think there’s any doubt that anybody associated with a wedding has ridden a rollercoaster of emotions across the past twelve months. As a multi-award-winning wedding planner working across the UK, I’ve been working closely with my clients to navigate the challenges and uncertainty that COVID has presented. It hasn’t been easy, but we’re getting there, and finally, FINALLY, I think we’re coming out the other end of the nightmare that’s been the last 19 months! With 2022 looking set to be the busiest year EVER for weddings, hiring a wedding planner to help you navigate your wedding plans has never been more important!
So, why is NOW the right time to hire a UK wedding planner?
If your wedding plans are already underway, I’m sure things still feel very uncertain right now. It’s hard to know whether to continue wedding planning and whether now is the right to put down deposits on new wedding suppliers. Having a wedding planner to guide and support you through these challenging times can reduce the stress levels and help you get excited again about planning your wedding again.
We’ll help you approach your planning in a practical way and undertake lots of negotiation on your behalf. This may mean placing lower deposits, adjusting fee schedules or even altering contractual terms and conditions to help you feel more confident in your decisions. My partial wedding planning service will be perfect for you if you fall into this category – check it out here.
What if you need to postpone your wedding?
IF the worst should happen and you need to consider postponing your wedding, a wedding planner will talk you through the options and then liaise with your venue and supplier team, taking care of this for you. They’ll also be able to help you put contingency plans in place so that you could plan a micro wedding, or a ‘marry now’ (in line with government guidelines) and party later option too. Don’t be turned off by planning a small wedding; good things come in small packages!
What if you’re new to wedding planning?
Suppose you’re just starting on your wedding planning journey. In that case, a wedding planner will be able to help you source a fantastic wedding venue and reputable wedding suppliers who are very likely to still be in business by the time your wedding arrives! It’s a challenging time across the wedding industry right now, and we’ve already seen some companies struggle to stay afloat.
Your wedding planner will have great contacts who they know and trust to deliver your wedding vision, who are also much more likely to go the distance. They’ll be able to review your contract terms and ensure the best back up plans are in place should you need to consider a postponement in the future.
As a multi-award-winning UK wedding planner, I’ll always tell you why hiring me is a good idea! But the truth is, in the middle of a global pandemic, there’s never been a better time or a better reason to hire a wedding planner.
