As a multi-award-winning independent UK-based Wedding Planner, I work with couples across the globe to professionally plan, beautifully design, and expertly produce wow-factor, award-winning weddings throughout the UK and overseas.

My mission as your dedicated wedding planner is to plan and design a wedding that is authentic, unique and personal – no two One Curious Dream weddings are ever the same! It’s my job to find out what makes YOU tick so that together, we can create a celebration that perfectly reflects your relationship and love for one another.

I have been fortunate to work alongside some of the worlds leading wedding suppliers and have planned, designed and produced weddings in some of the most unique and prestigious wedding venues – country houses, rustic barns, luxury hotels, historic buildings, urban warehouses, beach locations, garden weddings at home; you name it, I’ve done it! My job is to take your vision, whatever it may be, and help you bring it to life, all whilst saving you time, stress and money!

As soon as possible! Simply, the sooner I come on board, the quicker I’m able to ensure your wedding planning journey is smooth and stress-free.

The majority of my wedding planning clients hire me at an early stage of their planning to offer a comprehensive, end to end service.  You may have already booked your wedding venue and potentially a supplier or two as well, so I’ll help you progress your plans from this point onwards.

I’m also extremely grateful that my wedding planning services are in-demand, and peak dates get booked up quickly. Please get in touch to check availability and find out how I can help you plan your wedding.

Planning a wedding is very time-consuming (did you know, on average, it takes between 250-450 hours to plan a wedding?), and therefore I limit the number of signature wedding planning clients I work with each season to ensure each of my couples receive the time, attention and commitment they deserve.

Most of my clients tend to be busy professionals, take care of hectic households, or are based overseas, so I offer a highly personal, client-focused approach and a range of services designed to fit you and your lifestyle.

Absolutely! I’m truly proud of my global client base, and I work with couples all over the world, including America, Australia and the Middle East.

It means I know a thing or two about working across different time zones, and, as your local wedding planner here in the UK, I’ll do everything I possibly can to ensure the process is smooth, stress-free and enjoyable for you.

Absolutely! Many One Curious Dream couples choose to extend their wedding celebrations across multiple days. From selecting the perfect wedding venue and a dream team of wedding suppliers, I’ll create an extended wedding celebration that takes your guests needs into account across several days.

As a truly independent Wedding Planner, I’m not tied to recommending specific venues or suppliers, so you’ll always have access to the very best of the best across the industry, which allow us to build a personal, unique wedding that’s designed just for you.

It’s no secret that I have an incredible little black book full of top local wedding industry suppliers who are tried, tested and thoroughly trusted. I want your wedding to be exceptional, so I will always recommend the very best wedding suppliers (that work within your budget) for you to consider. Many of the wedding suppliers that I work with regularly offer discounts and incentives to my wedding planning clients too, and of course, savings and discounts are always passed on to you.

However, there is no pressure to accept my supplier recommendations; after all, it’s YOUR wedding, and YOU remain in the driving seat at all times. I regularly work with new wedding suppliers too, so if you have a wedding business in mind already, then tell me all about them, and I’ll find a way to incorporate their services into your wedding. I ask that all suppliers provide a legally sound contract and have appropriate insurance in place.

I work with a wide range of budgets and am always open, honest and transparent in how I work with my clients. This means I’ll help you understand what you can realistically achieve with the budget you have, and if you hire me as your wedding planner, part of my role is to ensure you spend your money in a way that achieves the maximum return on your investment.

Typically, my couples will have a wedding event budget ranging anywhere between 35-150k+, though as a planner who focuses on the numbers, I’ll ensure you don’t ever spend more than you need to!

Additionally, based on your vision, if I believe your wedding budget will be better spent on your wedding rather than my wedding planning fees, I’ll tell you! I want you to have an amazing wedding, but I will only work with couples where I can genuinely add value to your wedding planning experience.

Following an initial consultation, I’ll be able to provide a tailored proposal based on the complexity, size and duration of your wedding. For full wedding planning services, you can expect to pay 12% of your wedding event budget, and a minimum fee applies.

I’m always transparent in my fee structure and will ensure there are no hidden surprises, so you’ll always know how much my wedding planning services will cost.

I’m also able to offer a fixed fee for larger wedding budgets, so do let me know if this is something you would like to explore at your wedding consultation.

For all of my wedding planning services, I require a 25% retainer to get your wedding plans underway. From there, I divide the balance into equal, interest-free monthly payments, with the final payment due no later than 30 days before your wedding.

For wedding coordination and wedding styling services, we require a 50% payment on booking with the balance payable 30 days before the wedding.

There are many wedding planning membership bodies and organisations throughout the UK, and as a previous elite member of one of these, I spent years being externally accredited.

However, I decided to become an independent wedding planner because it means I can operate within my own business code of conduct. This means that my service levels are much higher than those expected when you are a member of an external organisation.

Additionally, I’m not tied to working with specific venues or suppliers nor am I encouraged to recommend venues or suppliers because they are fellow members of a membership body. So, you will always know that my recommendations are made with your very best interests at heart.

It means you will have access to an extensive portfolio of incredible venues and suppliers, (the very best of the best in the industry!) and can be confident that your wedding is entirely designed to fit your needs.

I do not accept any form of commission or referral fee from wedding venues or suppliers.

I charge fairly for my wedding planning services, based on my skills, experience and your specific requirements, so I have no need to seek additional profit for the work I have already agreed to undertake for you.

This means you can rest safe in the knowledge that my wedding venue and wedding supplier recommendations are always made with your very best interests at heart and that all discounts and perks offered by my regular venues and suppliers are passed directly to you.

Yes, absolutely. I hold public and employers liability insurance as well as professional indemnity insurance.

The One Curious Dream wedding planning studios are in London and Norfolk. However, as my weddings take place right across the UK and overseas, I spend a lot of time travelling to spend time with my couples, and of course, to produce their incredible weddings!

I have been recognised as one of the UK’s best independent wedding planners by Hitched.co.uk and have received a range of industry accolades for both wedding planning and wedding styling from a range of prominent organisations, including both the National Wedding Industry Awards and the British Wedding Awards.

I am a recommended supplier on Love My Dress, Rock My Wedding, The English Wedding Blog, Lux Life, Hitched and a whole range of other industry recognised organisations.

We’re currently hiring! Please take a look at our recruitment page here, and get in touch if you fit the bill!
