I’m writing this later than usual this week after taking a couple of days downtime across the wonderfully sunny bank holiday weekend – wasn’t it beautiful?
It still feels incredibly strange to have time at home when the sun is shining at weekends in the summer, and we should have been producing the most beautiful Norfolk wedding at Hales Hall for one of our gorgeous wedding planning couples on Saturday.
I always say that we’re so incredibly lucky to plan weddings for the best couples on the planet and this gorgeous couple are no exception – they’ve been utterly wonderful even when faced with such a challenging situation. I’m so looking forward to their postponed wedding which has an absolute powerhouse team of wedding suppliers on board, some insane wedding design and styling features and a super fun American/British guestlist. Can’t wait!
If you follow One Curious Dream on Instagram, you’ll see that we’ve been sharing frequent updates about our availability to work with full-service and partial wedding planning clients next year. As we’ve moved so many couples across to 2021, peak weekends are looking incredibly busy so if you are thinking of hiring a wedding planner, now’s the time to get in touch!
On that note, we welcomed three new full-service wedding planning clients to the One Curious Dream family. As regular Weddings by One Curious Dream readers know, our wedding planners plan and design weddings right across the UK so we can’t wait to help C&A plan a stunning summer 2021 marquee wedding in Northampton, A&J plan an intimate 2022 wedding in Kent and C&J plan a beautiful barn wedding in Norfolk.
Our diary for 2022 is also open, and dates are already being booked for both wedding planning and wedding design services. 2021 and 2022 both look set to be bumper years and an incredibly exciting time for the One Curious Dream team.
This week, there’s a TON of admin to tackle for our postponed weddings which includes lots of wedding supplier sourcing. For the most part, we’ve been lucky to transfer the majority of wedding suppliers across to postponed dates, which is great news! However, it’s worth mentioning that if you are a couple thinking about postponing your wedding, do prepare yourselves that you may need to consider alternative suppliers in some cases if not all of your existing wedding suppliers can transfer to your new date.
There are also lots of wedding plans to progress for our 2021 and 2022 couples which include sourcing a wedding venue and refining the wedding budget for one of our newest full-service wedding planning couples.
Duty calls, so I’ll love you and leave you for another week. Stay positive, peeps, and be excellent to each other.
